This baked pork chop recipe is so easy, quick and flavorful that everyone have to try it.
8 thin boneless pork chops
8 slices mozzarella cheese, or more if you like
salt, pepper to taste
1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce tomato base
1. Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).
2. Put 4 pork chops in a casserole dish. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
3. Put 1 slice of mozzarella cheese on top of every chop.
4. Put the rest of the chops on top of chops with mozzarella cheese (it should look like a sandwich). Sprinkle salt and pepper.
5. Pour spaghetti sauce over the whole dish. Put the other 4 mozzarella slices on top of the dish.
6. Pop the dish into the oven for approximately 1 hour or until internal meat temperature reaches 160F (71C).
My healthy “Twist” for this recipe: add 1 sliced red pepper and 1 sliced small onion to the bottom of the dish (we need to eat at least 5 vegetables servings per day).
