Creamy Dreamy Apple Cobbler

by Coleen
(Havertown, PA)

Ingredients:

- 2 to 3 large Red Delicious apples peeled, cored and cut into small chunks
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Apple Juice
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Allspice
- 1 teaspoon Ginger
- 1/2 Cup whipped Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 Cups Graham Cracker crumbs
- 2 sticks of butter, melted

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Cook apples, sugar, juice, and spices in a medium sauce pan over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring constantly, until apples are soft. Stir in cream cheese and stir until cream cheese is melted. This will take 2 to 3 minutes and the sauce will look like caramel when it is completely melted and mixed.

3. Combine butter and crumbs in a bowl.

4. Grease a 9 inch by 9 inch baking pan.

5. Pour apple mix into pan. Top with crumb mixture.

6. Bake for 25 minutes.

Serves 4 to 6.
