Easy Beer Bread Recipe

easy beer bread recipe

This easy beer bread recipe is the way to impress your guests.

3 tablespoons white sugar ½ teaspoon salt 3 cups self-rising flour

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle of beer

1. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C).

2. In a large bowl mix together sugar, salt and flour.

3. Add the beer and continue to mix. First using a wooden spoon, then use your hands (batter will be sticky).

4. Pour into a 9 x 5 inch greased loaf pan. 5. Bake for 50-60 minutes.

6. The top will be crunchy and the inside will be soft.

7. Serve topped with butter or cheese spread.

In order to add extra flavorful “Twist” to the beer bread: add ½ teaspoon of turmeric. It gives a pretty yellow color and a very intriguing flavorful taste.

Cheers,
Victoria Paikin
