Italian Easy Chicken Fingers Recipe

easy chicken fingers recipe

From my experience everybody love chicken fingers, kids love them, adults love them. This Italian easy chicken fingers recipe will be your family's weekly favorite. And with my lemony "Twist" you'll keep making it over and over again.

1 egg (or more depending on how many chicken breasts used and also the size of an egg), slightly beaten

1 tablespoon water

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into finger-size pieces

1 ½ cup freshly made bread crumbs from fresh white bread (done in food processor or blender)

salt, pepper to taste

½ tablespoon dry oregano

½ tablespoon dry thyme

1/4 grated parmesan cheese

juice from 1 lemon

1. Mix egg and water together an a bowl. Dip the chicken fingers in an egg and water batter.

2. Mix in another bowl bread crumbs, salt, pepper, oregano and thyme and parmesan cheese. Then coat chicken in the mixture.

3. Deep fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

4. Serve with lemon juice on top.

My extra flavorful “Twist”: to enhance extra lemony flavor grade the yellow peel from one lemon and add it to the bread crumbs mixture.
