My easy chocolate frosting recipe isn’t classical frosting, it’s more like crossing between easy chocolate fudge recipe and easy chocolate sauce ganache.
½ cup whipping cream
50gr (2oz) butter
1 cup dark chocolate buttons
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
Take small saucepan, add whipping cream, butter and bring it almost to boil.
Then add the rest of ingredients.
Pop the lid on and let it stand for 3 minutes, then open and mix well. Now it’s in a liquid state and can be used as hot chocolate sauce, or you can chill it for 10 minutes and pour over a cake or cupcakes.
To add grown-up “Twist” to this recipe, add ¼ cup rum or coffee liqueur.
You can “Twist” this recipe by adding 1 tablespoon of orange zest as well.
