The first thing that comes into my mind when I’m thinking about easy Italian recipes is Freshness .
My most vivid memory of visiting Italy is the smell of strong, fresh ground espresso coffee in the morning with chocolate salami on the side (yes I know that it’s usually eaten with coffee after lunch, but I love it in the morning)!!!
The tastes of Italy are different from region to region (Italy is divided into 20 regions and almost each one has a very distinct cooking tradition).
O those delis with fresh ingredients, hanging salamis, cheeses and freshly baked fucaccia breads.
Italy, Italy my inspiration!!! Italian recipes are really simple. The fresh ingredients are the key to success. In most parts of Italy women go every morning to buy groceries for that day. No, don't be afraid. I don’t mean that you need to go and buy your groceries on that particular day when you want successfully to prepare your Italian recipes.
What I mean, is that you have to keep in mind when you prepare Italian recipes, to use as many fresh ingredients as you can. The best way is to use fresh herbs, fresh tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and of course freshly cooked pasta.
