Easy Pizza Dough Recipe

easy pizza dough recipe

This easy pizza dough recipe is a perfect base for endless opportunities to make easy pizza recipes / easy bread recipes. Only your imagination stands between you and a very exciting easy dinner recipes.

1 kg all purpose flour

1 tablespoon dry yeast

¼ cup sugar

¼ cup olive oil (or any tasteless vegetable oil)

1 egg

1 teaspoon salt

2.5 cups warm water

1. Mix all the ingredients with your hands or with mixer, until well mixed. Continue to mix for another few minutes for better results. If the dough is too sticky add a little bit of flour.

2. Put the dough in an oiled bowl for 1 hour in warm place, or until it doubles in size.

3. At this point you can freeze the dough, or you can go to the next stage.

4. You have to remember, that this dough requires another ½ an hour of rising time after you shape it into a type of pizza recipe / bread recipe that you want. For example, from this dough you can make fucaccia bread or easy bread with nuts.

5. You can also roll this dough and shape it to make a pizza. Preheat the oven to 375F (190C). Spread your pizza sauce on top, then put your favorite toppings (pepperoni, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms... or any other toppings you like ) andsprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Pop into an oven for 30 minutes, or until the pastry is brown and crunchy.

My time and budget saving “Twist” for this recipe: use ½ of the dough and freeze the other ½. You can not defrost this dough in the microwave - so take your time on this.

Cheers,
Victoria Paikin
