This easy pork chop recipe is a very time saving recipe. The reason for that, is that this recipe to be prepared in slow cooker. Perfect for those long working days when nobody wants to cook.
1 large onion sliced to ½ inch (1cm)
8 thick pork chops bone in or boneless
1 can (12 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
salt, pepper to taste
1. Put sliced onion on the bottom of slow cooker.
2. Assemble pork chops on top of the onion.
3. Pour the cream of mushroom soup into the crockpot and add salt and pepper.
4. Cover the slow cooker with lid and cook on low setting for about 9 hours or 10 if you use bone in pork chops.
My flavorful “Twist” for this recipe: add whole fresh mushrooms of any kind (if too big cut to pieces).
My time saving “Twist”: you can put frozen pork chops into the pot and add an extra hour to cooking time. It takes 3 minute to assemble the dish in the morning and leave to work. By the time you will be home, you’ll have prepared dinner.
