French Toast Recipe

by Charlotte Barrett
(United States)

Here is my French toast recipe I am not sure how much sugar to say. I just added it to suit my taste. It was like a tablespoon and a half of another maybe.

1 egg (beaten)
1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar (or as much as you prefer for desired sweetness)
1 1/2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon (or as much as you prefer)

Mix well, dip in loaf bread and absorb egg mixture on both sides. Fry in buttered skillet, until golden brown on both sides. You can sprinkle extra granulated sugar on top if you prefer or add pancake syrup.
