- 800G ( 2 tins worth) tinned tomatoes pureed - 1 tbsp- chopped green chilli, clove of garlic, ginger paste, salt and olive oil - 1 tsp ground- cumin, coriander and fenegreek powder - cheddar cheese Your choice of vegetables! I use canned tuna, sliced tomatoes, sweetcorn, diced peppers, mushrooms, chopped chilli or jalepenos, red onion and broccoli
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, Gas mark 4 - Prepare the flavourful tomato sauce by stirring all the tomato sauce ingredients in a saucepan and gently simmer for 20 minutes... Allow to cool! - Prepare the pizza dough by combining all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Make a well in the centre and gradually stir in the wet ingredients and mix by hand. - knead the dough on a floured surface until soft and elastic to the touch. - place the dough in a well greased bowl and cover with cling film, let sit for 1 hour. - Dust your surface with extra flour and divide your dough into two. Roll your dough out to the thickness you desire. - Place on a greased tin and prick the bases with a fork. This will alow the steam to escape! - Crimp the edges for an added decorative touch. - Top the bases with the cooled tomato sauce and spread evenly. - Finally, cover with the cheese and veggies you desire. Meat can be used if desired! - Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until the cheese is oozy and the crust is golden brown. Cut up the pizza and serve warm with a side dish. ENJOY...YUM!!
