Israeli Salad Recipe

easy fruit salad recipe

This Israeli salad recipe is simple fresh and very tasty way to boost your daily vitamins and vegetables intake.

2 green onions

2 tomatoes

2 small cucumbers or ½ English cucumber

juice from ½ fresh lemon

1 garlic clove

¼ cup dill

2 tablespoons olive oil

salt, pepper to taste

1. Finely chop cucumbers, tomatoes and green onions and transfer to serving dish.

2. To make dressing, in a chopper start chopping garlic, then add dill and continue to chop.

3. Pour dressing over the salad and toss well.

4. Now add olive oil and squeeze ½ lemon on top of the salad and toss well.

5. Salt and pepper salad, toss well and taste.

My “Twist” for this recipe is easy: just experiment with different herbs instead of using just dill; just use the same amount of different herbs.

So have a healthy, fun and wonderful day!

Cheers,
Victoria Paikin
