Mini Pudding Pies

Mini Pudding Pies

What this recipe means to me and my family is, I made this up during November when my Grandparents came. I don't see them that much, so I wanted to do something special for them. So, I made up Mini Pudding Pies, they enjoyed it! This recipe is for them!

Mini Pudding Pies

To make 9 Mini Pudding Pies, you will need:

1. 2 9 Inch Refrigerated Pie Crust (One Box)

2. Mini Hershey chocolate chips

3. Whipped cream (of your choice)

4. A muffin Pan (Do not grease)

5. A bowl, diameter 5 inches ( It has to be 5 inches)

6. A sharp knife

7. 2 boxes of chocolate instant pudding

8. Three sliced strawberries

9. Waxed Paper

10. a whisk

11. two extra bowls

12. And something to roll the pie dough on ( I used a pan)

1. To get started on your pies preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Roll one pie crust on your pan (or what ever surface you choose.) Take your 5 inch diameter bowl, put on the pie crust, and cut around the bowl. Do this three times, then roll the remains of the dough, roll, and flatten, do one more time. You may have extra dough, put this aside. Take your other pie dough and do the same thing. Then take the extra dough from both of them, roll, and flatten. You should have nine circles of dough.

2. Take your muffin pan, (not greased) pick up one of the circles, grab four sides, make as even as possible. Place in one of the holes, pull back the sides, and squish the bottom of the dough to the pan lightly. Then with the top of the dough, you can squish it to the pan, or curve and squish a little with the top, you can do what ever you please, these are just some choices.

3. Bake 9-11 minutes, until the tops of the shells are getting brown.

4. When the shells are done, cool. After cooled for a few minutes, you may put in a fridge.

5. Take one of your bowls, and put the instant pudding into the bowl. Follow the package directions.

6. Next, take your other bowl, slice off the top of each strawberry, and slice them three times into the bowl.

7. Take your shells, and put on a plate. Take some pudding, and put it in the center of each pie shell. Then take one slice of a strawberry, and put on top. Finally, take your whipped cream, put some on top, sprinkle some mini chocolate chips, and serve!
This serves nine.
