1 cup fresh live yogurt (preferable one that contains only milk and bacterial cultures without any additives)
1 minced garlic clove
2 teaspoons olive oil
salt, pepper to taste
1. Grate whole cucumber in a food processor, add salt and leave for a few minutes.
2. Drain cucumber liquids before mixing with all the other ingredients.
3. Mix all the ingredients together and serve.
My extra flavorful "Twist" for this basic easy Greek recipe: add 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh dill or/and 1 teaspoon of dry dill or/and 1 teaspoon of dry mint.
